8th December, 2011 has been marked as one of the most historic day and the land of 'Indore' city as the most magical land in the history of world cricket, as the explosive opening batsman of India 'Virender Sehwag' has made a score of 219 i.e. the maximum runs in any One Day International cricket match till date. He made this record by breaking the former record of the Indian Superman 'Sachin Tendulkar' who had the previous record of making 200 runs (not out). Throughout his batting he was dangerously attacking since the first ball, his foot work was fantastic today and exactly everything was going in his favor. Today he also completed 8,000 runs in his ODI career and along with it made this historic record with a great margin above the below lying scores. Luck also favored his way as his catch was dropped by the West Indian captain Darren Sammy when he was at a score of 170. With a great strike rate of 146.98, Sehwag faced just 149 balls to score this mountain of runs. He struck 25 fours and 7 massive sixes in the form of boundaries for reaching this score.

The whole innings was tremendously awesome. He is really the most aggressive batsmen in the history of world cricket with the greatest strike rate. Have a look at the exclusive photos of Virender Sehwag after hitting the magnificent 219 runs i.e. just after completing his double century. He broke the record of Sachin Tendulkar by hitting a four when he was at the score of 197. By this he completed his double ton and also became the highest run maker in ODIs. The pictures displays the expressions, feelings, style and salutation of him just after achieving the exuberance.
